I was quite privileged to be interviewed on a local radio program by Ben Solomon, owner of Right at Home, a Washington State company which provides in-home care and assistance to seniors.

The topic centered primarily on the unique challenges men face as caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.

You can listen to this interview right here, on the Right at Home web site.

“With a Little Help” conducted its 3rd Annual Care Conference on Wednesday & Thursday, March 8 & 9, 2017 at North Seattle Community College.

At this conference I presented a workshop entitled: “Diffusing Conflict: The Magic of Listening and Language”.   I explored potential communication challenges that may surface between a caregiver – be that a professional or family member – and the individual receiving their care.

2017 Alzheimer’s Association Washington State Regional Conference

When: April 7, 2017

Where: Washington State Convention Center

This conference has proven for me to be incredibly informative and highly inspirational – year after year. I was honored and privileged to be an Exhibitor at this year’s conference, on behalf of Transitions in Dementia Care.
